Shared Risk IVF

Print this page E-mail this page to a friend

The concept of shared risk IVF was developed in order to make the IVF procedure more affordable to patients who do not have medical insurance to cover this complicated but very effective procedure.

NEFI has always been sympathetic to the couples that desperately want to have a child but do not have the medical insurance to cover their treatment. Those couples may spend a considerable amount of money on their treatment. If the treatment is not successful they often are then unable to pursue additional therapy or other options such as adoption.

To address this painful issue we have developed the “shared risk IVF program”. The idea behind this concept is have NEFI share the risk of a failed cycle with the couple. We are able to offer this program because we are confident in our success.

Once accepted into the Shared Risk IVF program, the couple will be reimbursed a portion of their IVF fee if their cycle is unsuccessful. The amount of reimbursement will largely depend on the patient’s individual profile. Please browse the following document, which describes the three levels of reimbursement based on the individual couple’s profile.

Please examine this sample agreement for the shared risk program if you are interested in participating.

If you wish to discuss any aspect of this program in more detail, please call our medical or financial staff.
