In Vitro Fertilization

IVF is a procedure in which a doctor harvests eggs (ova) from a woman's ovaries;
fertilizes them in the laboratory with her partner's sperm; and then places the
fertilized eggs (embryos) back into the woman's uterus. Compared to other infertility
treatments, IVF has the highest rate of success.

Third-Party Reproduction: A Guide for Same Sex Couples

New England Fertility offers same sex (gay and lesbian) couples help in achieving their
dream of starting a family. Treatments options include artificial insemination with
donor sperm (AID) and in vitro fertilization (IVF) using donor sperm for female couples
and egg donation and gestational surrogacy for gay male couples.

Third-Party Reproduction: Gestational Surrogacy

Gestational surrogacy is a procedure in which a surrogate is implanted with embryos
created from the eggs and sperm of the intended parents. For couples who are unable
to conceive or carry a pregnancy, gestational surrogacy provides an opportunity to
have their own child.
